I am Rizky Pratama, an Information Systems graduate with professional experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, and DevOps-related environments. Currently working as an IT Officer while actively expanding my expertise through a DevOps Engineering Bootcamp.

My bootcamp is focused on cloud platforms, automation, containerization, and infrastructure management. I am passionate about modern infrastructure technologies, continuous learning, and solving real operational challenges using technology.

A closer look at the Network Traffic Management project — from problem to solution.

The Network Traffic Management System is the project that best represents my approach to solving real operational problems with systematic thinking and technical execution.

Why Was It Created?

Internet resources inside the company were unmanaged and difficult to monitor. Bandwidth usage was inconsistent, causing operational costs to increase and affecting productivity across departments.

What Problem Was Solved?

Solved bandwidth allocation issues and enabled administrators to monitor user traffic more effectively. Eliminated uncontrolled usage and established a fair, policy-based bandwidth distribution system.

My Contribution

Designed and implemented the entire traffic management infrastructure using Mikrotik RouterOS and monitoring tools. This was a solo implementation — from planning to deployment and testing.

Reflection & Growth

Creating this portfolio was challenging because I needed to organize experiences from different backgrounds and present them as a coherent career journey toward DevOps Engineering. The biggest challenge was translating real work experience into measurable project impacts and technical achievements.

The Infrastructure Virtualization project best represents me because it demonstrates both technical implementation skill and problem-solving capability in a real business environment.

Through these projects, I improved infrastructure management, documentation, and automation skills. Each challenge taught me to think systematically — from understanding the problem to designing and deploying the solution.
